The story
How Arthace started
Amit runs Suvidhi Creations, a textile manufacturing business in Surat. For years, getting a clear read on his own numbers meant waiting on his accounting team. It meant waiting days for last month's figures, or calling the office to ask which parties still owed money and how much stock was lying with job workers. The questions were simple. How much did we make last month? Who owes us money? What is stuck in job work? The answers were slow and vague, and the numbers he needed to run the business were always just out of reach.
He took it to Rahul, a childhood friend who had spent years building and growing businesses and kept hitting the same wall in his own books. Two owners in very different businesses, stuck on the same thing. The accounting was getting done, but a clear, usable picture never reached them.
So they built it for themselves, against real production and real paperwork rather than a whiteboard idea. They made a way to turn the documents a business already has — a photo of a bill, an Excel sheet, a bank statement, a voice note — into clean, approved books, and to get answers out of those books without waiting on anyone. Once it was doing the job in a real business, it was clear other owners were stuck the same way.
That is how Arthace started. Two owners built the tool they needed, then opened it up for other businesses.
